Price: INR 700 for 70 ml of product.

These color clay masks basically come in 7 different variants addressing different skin concerns. Innisfree I feel is a very trusted brand when it comes to skincare.

These color clay masks are all made with Jeju volcanic scoria, which is Jeju’s natural volcanic cluster, and provides stronger sebum control and absorption. The powerful sebum control effect of Jeju volcanic cluster provides clean pore care. I’ve bought these products a few months ago before even making a choice of blogging. We’ll that’s the reason i have no cartons of the products, never mind i shall specify every fine detail of the products so keep going ❤

Yes, as i said these colors clay masks come in 7 variants being

Yellow (Brightening): Contains Vitamin C derivative, to brighten the skin and control sebum. Gives a Brightening effect on skin, leaving skin radiant and fresh.

Blue (hydrating): Contains hyaluronic acid to moisturize the skin and control sebum. Hyaluronic acid works amazing on every skin type.

Pink (vitalizing): Contains pomegranate seed oil that revitalizes the skin leaving it fresh and beautiful.

Green (cica): Contains madecassoside to control blemishes and sebum also prevents acne also it calms irritated skin.

Purple (calming): Contains panthenol to calm or soothe the skin and control sebum.

White (refining): Contains sea salt to soften the texture of skin and control sebum.

Black (purifying): Contains mud to purify the skin and control sebum.

Getting into the review of the masks that I have used the Yellow (brightening), Green (cica), Black (purifying)  masks. So the yellow and the green masks are water-gel clay masks, it means they are light weight and easily glides on skin and are rich in moisture and can be washed off easily with water without much foam, whereas the Black mask is transforming clay masks which means they do not fully dry onto the skin and once water is added while washing the mask it turns into foamy lather that cleanses skin from within. I ordered the Brightening and Cica variants of the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay masks and I got a sample of Purifying Clay mask (black) free. What I love the most about Innisfree is that they always arrange cute and tiny trial packs for their customers.

How to Use:

After cleansing face with a cleanser pat dry your face and apply appropriate amount of the mask on your dry face avoiding the eye area. After 5-10 minutes, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Its recommend to use the clay masks 1-2 times per week. You can also do multi-masking with different variants to combat different skin concerns at the same time.

The Purifying mask should be applied on to the T-zone and the chin area, It helps to control oil and cleans the pores from within. The Cica mask should be applied on the acne prone areas of your skin (I have acne prone skin on my cheeks) and the Brightening mask must be applied where you want your skin to look bright (when multi-masking I apply it on the face and neck leaving the T-zone and cheeks).

Yellow (brightening)

This mask is absolutely gentle on my skin, it’s not too thick that’s the reason it glides smoothly and quickly, dries within 10 minutes. Mask can be washed off very easily. Regular masks often leave skin feeling dry and stretchy post wash but this product leaves skin smooth and radiant. As the name says Brightening, my skin feels bright after i wash the mask off, but not for a longer time. So i prefer it for instant brightness. It doesn’t cause any kind of irritation of skin its perfect for sensitive skin too. I love the results this product gives me and i feel if you use this product every alternate days it will definitely help to boost up your skintone. I love Innisfree color clay Brightening mask and i recommend it if you are fond of soft and bright skin.

Rating 4/5 (-1 because iwish it offered brightness for a longer period of time.)

Green (Cica)

This mask has a slightly thick texture than the brightening one, but no worries this glides on easily too. I don’t have a very acne prone skin but due to combination skin type i get some of them on my cheek area. On using this mask on my cheeks, i noticed that the oil on my face gets controlled and maybe that is helping me prevent acne. I also recommended it to one of my friend to try this mask. She has an extremely oily and acne prone skin and she noticed change in her skin just in 2 weeks. So if you have acne problems this product is just for you.

As i stated earlier, the Purifying mask is a transforming clay mask. It has a slightly thick texture like the Cica mask. It takes a while to dry completely. This product deeply cleanses the pores if you have any and also brightens face. I apply it on my t zone and chin area. When washing it off it turns into foamy lather cleaning up all the dirt from my skin. I feel so refreshed after using this product. My T-zone literally shines and i absolutely love the result it gives me. This is the best according to me from the variants that I’ve used. Highly highly recommend. Suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.

Rating: 5/5

Best of the 3 variants:

Without any doubt Black (Purifying)
